General Terms and Conditions of Business

Principles
The non-profit association zukunftsFähig e.V. and its special purpose entity, the zukunftsfähig-Akademie, are hereinafter referred to as ZF/ZFA. ZF/ZFA is a party-politically, ideologically and denominationally independent association and educational institution. We are committed to radical diversity, which is a characteristic of all living systems. We expressly reject any form of racist, sexist, homophobic and anti-Semitic or otherwise discriminatory statements and behaviour as incompatible with the ethics of permaculture.
 Persons who advocate such inhuman attitudes as learners or teachers in our courses and events, or who are members of an association that supports such ideas, may be excluded (1) from leading events, (2) from participating in events, (3) from staying on the sites and grounds used by ZF/ZFA.

Payment

A registration fee of currently 75,00 € will be charged. This covers the costs incurred in the event of withdrawal.

The registration fee is due immediately upon confirmation of registration. The total fees for the events are due by the registration deadline. You will receive the relevant account details with our registration confirmation.

For events with a fee of € 300.00 or less, the full amount is due with the registration confirmation. Payment by instalments is possible on request.
If the total amount or the direct debit mandate is not received by the deadline, we reserve the right to allocate places elsewhere. In this case, the registration fee will be retained.

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation must be made in writing. The registration fee paid in advance will be retained. The following conditions for withdrawal apply, unless otherwise stated in the event description:

Events


- up to 30 days before the start or by the registration deadline: € 75.00

- from 29 to 0 days before the start or from the day following the registration deadline: full participation fee.

If accommodation and/or catering are booked at the same time, separate conditions may apply to this amount, which must be enquired about.

Cancellation of only individual parts of events, e.g. multi-part events or further education courses, is not possible.

We draw your attention to the possibility of taking out seminar cancellation insurance.
Substitutes and waiting list You can nominate a substitute for the registered participant at any time before the start of the event. This person must register using the registration form. If there are admission requirements for the event, these must also be met by the substitute. In this case, you will not incur any additional costs.

If a participant can move up from the waiting list, we will refund the fees in full, except for the registration fee.

Rebooking

In principle, there is no guaranteed possibility of rebooking. However, if you are unable to attend the registered event due to unforeseen circumstances and no replacement can be found, please contact us. Perhaps there is a suitable alternative event or an accommodating solution.

Cancellation of events


We reserve the right to cancel an event for important reasons beyond our control (e.g. illness of the speaker, force majeure, insufficient number of participants). In this case we will inform you immediately and refund the full course fee. There are no further claims against us.

In the event that you cannot be reached at the e-mail address you have given us in the weeks before the start of the event, we kindly ask you to make inquiries by telephone in good time. Please note this also applies to accommodation, meals and travel arrangements booked by you.

Data protection

By registering for events via our contact form or the information letter, participants agree to the electronic storage of their data. The personal data provided will be stored and processed exclusively to ensure the organisational and content-related implementation of the events, also in view of the German Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the above-mentioned purpose and, as far as possible, anonymised. Participants can object to the storage and use of their own personal data at any time. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected. Participants are aware that unencrypted data transmitted via the Internet is not secure and can be accessed and modified by third parties.

Photo and video recordings

During events, participants may be photographed or videotaped. Please note that these recordings may be used for advertising purposes. By booking the event, you consent to the taking of photographs and their use by zukunftsFähig e. V. and the zukunftsFähig Akademie. If you do not agree, please inform us in writing before or at the beginning of the event.

Scope of services and reservations of right to change

The services correspond in content and scope to the description of the event or the educational offer. We are entitled to make necessary changes to the content, methods and organisation or to deviations (e.g. due to changes in the law) before or during the event, provided that these do not significantly change the benefits of the announced event for the participant. We are entitled to replace the scheduled speakers with other equally qualified persons with regard to the announced topic in case of need (e.g. illness, accident).


The documents or data collections provided within the framework of events are prepared to the best of our knowledge and belief. Liability and guarantee for the correctness, topicality, completeness and quality of the contents are excluded.

Liability

We would like to point out to participants that each person is fully responsible for him/herself and his/her own actions during the event and on the event premises and must pay for any damage or loss caused by him/her. Otherwise, the legal regulations apply. Please enquire with the respective organisers about possible risks that could arise from participation in an event and please inform them of any relevant disabilities, illnesses and diets.

Liability claims against the ZF/ZFA relating to material or non-material damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are excluded as a matter of principle, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence.

The participants themselves are liable for their physical and mental fitness for participation in the respective events.

All offers made by ZF/ZFA are subject to change and non-binding. We expressly reserve the right to change, supplement or delete parts or the entire offer on the Internet without prior notice or to discontinue publication temporarily or permanently.

If sections or individual terms of this statement are not legal or correct, the content or validity of the other parts remain uninfluenced by this fact.
